I hope this is okay for you. I have cooked for many years and learned from my MOM who is a great cook. Good luck.
Make sure you have it in freezer packaging and air tight. Once the air gets to it' it becomes freezer burnt and you have to throw it out.

Never liked eating them frozen

If you have it in a deep freezer (not refrigerator freezer) they can be kept for three months. I've actuall had one in there for six months and cooked it. Had to cut off some freezer burn, but otherwise it was still good.

your freezer will have stars you will see it on the outside name label...if its a 3star most usually are now..its up to 3 mths ....
