well if youre that cheap i suggest a photo of Pearl harbour... or pearls a singer, by elkie brooks. or pump up the volume by pearl jam...

or maybe these are just my pearls of wisdom... you can always try e bay... they sell lots of cheap tacky junk... have some class, theyre your olds, treat them with respect, and buying expensive pressies isnt neccesary... 30 or 40 dollars ought to get you a good bottle of wine...and a nice card.

Look around in some shops and see if you can find a frame made out of mother of pearl or get a regular pretty frame and hotglue some pearls around the edges. Get a favorite photo of your parents and slap it in there.

For my parent's 50th we got a very large gold frame and had a wedding picture blown up to fit it and we placed it on the wall behind the table with their cake. It was a big hit with them and now that my father has passed my mom cherishes it because she loves looking up at the wall and seeing him almost life sized. Be creative when looking for frames because you can stick it in an old mirror frame, too.

Get a nice box and some pretty writing paper, cut the paper into 30 strips and write on each strip the reasons why you love them and what they mean to you, little daft stuff that have made you all laugh over the years, wrap it up in nice paper, buy a lovely bunch of flowers and a good bottle of wine or champers and they will just love it, unique and very meaningful too, good luck.

You could always glue 30 £1 coins to a sheet of card in the shape of a three and a zero, or maybe around a nice photo of them both. you could also try and make a pearly king and queen outfit, but that will depend entirely on your parents.

Hi why dont u make something. Or maybe u could spend some time with them doing something they want. U could make a movie with some old home movies u have, screen a special show, do something for them rather than giving them something inanimate. Older people like memories not things!

Try and lot for something with pearls in for that price range, like an ornament or something.

Get a picture of them enlarged and framed
Or a wedding picture enlarged and framed?
Or a pic from wedding and one of them now - have them side by side in a frame?
