Depends on the breed. Toy dogs are full grown by 10 months. Giant breeds may not be full grown until 18 months. A year is about right for a medium to large dog.

ABOUT A YEAR, I STARTED GIVING MY DOG ADULT DOG FOOD WHEN SHE WAS ABOUT 8 MONTHS BECAUSE THAT WAS ALL THE STORE HAD AT THE TIME AND SHE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH IT.
