Has anyone heard of the Pimsleur audio CD's? Are they any good?

Pimsleur is very old fashion & has since been proven not the best way to learn a language. As an adult you need a combination of the 'tradional' book method, i.e. grammar explanation, vocab. lists, etc, along with an 'environmental' component, where you live and operate in a totally German environment & have to use the language in order to 'survive' so to speak.
Pimsleur originated back in the 1930's and applied linguistics ('the science of language learning") has come a long way since then.
But, if you can get the CD's cheaply (there usually expensive) the may help you pick up a phrase or two.

I think that firstly you should learn a little bit grammar ans vocabulary, than the best way is to watch films, listen to the music and read books (of course all in German). If it is such a possibility you should go to German for some time for example a month, year. After that journey you will speak German perfect.

The best way to learn a language is to go the country
itself !
Stay there a couple of months and I'm sure , you'll get
the basic . . .
And don't forget to get a girlfriend there !

Berlitz!! Many businesses use it to train their employees how to speak a certain language. My mom used it to learn Deutsch and she learned all of it in 3 weeks! It's expensive, but worth it. http://www.berlitz.com/
