We all went out last night, and when we got home me and this girl sat in my room talking ****,I tried (sort of) to get more of her attention (we were both a bit drunk) bit she didn't really seem thtat interested (But she was telling me her life story). was it the alcohol and should I just leave it or was there more and should I pursue it?

I'm not after my brother's girlfriend. Just her friend... I do have morals.

Well, last night out of the blue she texted me, is that a sign?should I go for it now. She said she told my brother's gf that she doesn't want to get serious in case we have a sour break-up and it would always be awkward at family get togethers...

well, if she didnt seem too interested when drunk while her inhibitions were off, then she probably wont be interested sober. you were probably more interested in her cuz u were drunk yourself too. i say just move on. plenty of others out there.

Yes, your brothers girlfriend is off limits, and yes the alcolhol was doing the talking. Be thankful nothing else happened during your altered mental state of mind. If she didn't seem that interested, then she wasn't. Why would you want to even try ("sort of") to get more attention from your brother's girlfriend anyway. You need to have more respect for your brother, and I am sure you do. Like I said it was just one of those alcohol moments and it passesd without anything unfortunate happening. You should be feeling good about yourself for that. Have a good night.

Not off limits. Your brother's girlfriend would be, but the friend of the girlfriend, seems OK.

However, she was only drunk and babbling her life story.
As you perceived, she showed no interest in you.

Ask her out, once, if you feel attracted. But don't expect a positive response.

Two drunken people in a room together, usually result in sex, if that's gonna happen at all. It didn't.Or at least a date being set. That did not happen, either.

You blew your chance already.

Do you really think telling a bit out of her life, means she is interested in you? Do you search for troubles with your brother?
Leave her alone!

Not at all, having you noticed that she didn't seem really interested even under a vulnerable situation. Just leave!

not off limits, but she may not remember you. try and see if you all can go out together again and preferably to somewhere with more talking and less booze
