If you are honestly looking for answers from the God that the bible told us about, then YES being gay and lesbian is a SIN!
I don't have anything against them. I believe in coexisting in harmony. But I'm not going to be a hypocrite and tell you God would most likely be open-minded about this because he firmly set his rules from the beginning of time. If you know about Sodom and Gomora, then you'd understand this rule. I'd believe being a homosexual is due to personal choice, you can't be born that way. God only made two people from the start, Adam and Eve. If there were four types of people made then, I'd say it's not a sin.

I don't mean to be rude if that's what you think my answer is but I think homosexuality is a sin according to many religions and I believe in it too. If it wasn't, there would be either only men or only women on earth, not both. And if you study the human body, man was meant to mate with a woman and not another man or a woman with another woman. 2nd fact is that the anus is meant for excretion purposes only. 3rd fact is that only when men and women mate can a new life be born.
I think it's common sense.

Not necessarily.
The Catholic Church believes there is nothing sinful about being homosexual. But homosexuals like all unmarried people are called to celibacy.
The Church specifically says that homosexuals "must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided."

It is no more sinful to be homosexual than to be tall, medium or short in height or to have a high, medium or low IQ.
Homosexuality is a normal human variation and it's time religious folk accepted it, the bible scriptures and the various interpretations placed on them are whacko and it's just nonsense to say a persons natural sexuality is a sin...grow up!
There is nothing more unnatural than the supernatural and belief in it.

Honestly, in this day and age have we not got bigger concerns than whether someone is a sinner because of who THEY choose to sleep with?? It certainly doesn't make you a bad person for being a homosexual, as long as both persons are consenting who gives a damn!!
