take your dog to obedience training. they will help you. petsmart has a good training course..will help heal what he has experienced. do it soon. his aggression will only continue or get worse.

Try saying "no" or "stop" very loudly and clearly. Fortunately, most big dogs do not care too much about attacking small dogs. Buy a short leash and do not let him pull you, or buy him a harness and pull every time he starts being feisty. Do not worry, it will not hurt him.
If that doesn't work, the only thing that can work is training classes, if you can afford them- that was the only thing that worked for my dog .
After being attacked by a German Shepperd, he'd attack the big dog, then hide behind me when the big dog tried to bite him- I have lots of scars from that.
If you're running low on funds, try getting a student who's in school to be a dog trainer.
Good luck

Are you acting nervous or scared when you see a big dog now? I could be that your dog is picking up on your fears and is trying to protect you. I don’t mean to say that you are afraid of big dogs, but you my be afraid that your do will get in a fight.

I had a little dog that thought he could take on any dog that came down his street. If it had scared me I would had laugh when he took on a pit bulls and won. Of course he ran up under him and bite his balls but it set him running.
