By talking and interacting in real time, with real people whom you have face to fact contact. A trend of "Internet rudeness" is rampant among young people, and people in general, when they don't have direct human contact. Read some of the posts. They are pointlessly rude, cruel, self-indulgent - all the things you'd like to avoid when trying to develop good interpersonal skills. First thing you do? Leave this forum, never to return. Find some real people to interact with, not ones who hide their social ignorance behind avatars.

1.Don’t criticize, condemn or complain.

2.Give honest, sincere appreciation.

3.Arouse in the other person an eager want.

4.Become genuinely interested in other people.

5.Smile :-)

6.Remember that a person’s name is to that person the sweetest and most important sound in any language.

7.Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves.

8.Talk in terms of the other person’s interests.

9.Make the other person feel important – and do it sincerely.

When you talk to someone, be really interested in what he has to say. REmember his name, don't interrupt and don't be eager to tell him your experience each time he tells you his, let him tell his story without you trying to top it with yours.

lose self-consiousness. socialise more. do a new thing everyday. smile goes a long way. be friendly to everyone.
