No they are totally different things.
Peace is contentment. But happiness is a more joyful expression.

Peace is a noun describing a state of harmonious relations with others characterized by the absence of wars or other hostilities and freedom from quarrels and disagreements.
Happiness is a noun describing a state of good luck characterized by enjoying, showing, or marked by pleasure or joy.
Peace and Happiness are both nouns however these words differ in meaning. As such Peace is not the same as Happiness.

No friend it isnt. You can be in a situation that your not happy about but God can give you peace in it. For example.... my father passed away in 2001 after 10 years of battling terrible heart disease. When he passed it did not give me happiness, but I did recieve peace from God in it. That he was no longer suffering.. he was a man of faith and I know he is with the Lord. God can give us joy and peace when we are in a place we are unhappy. Too often people confuse Joy with being giggly happy. True joy is being able to accept that God is still on the throne of creation... that he is still in control and while you may not understand the things that occur in this world you can be at peace and have joy in the knowledge that God is still God and he knows far better than we do and the day is coming when we will be with him in his wonderful eternity.

Almost. Happiness sometimes does not mean peace, but peace assures happiness.

No some people are only happy inside of a war because they can be heroes and kill other people with immunity. they would be very unhappy in a peaceful world.

peace makes me happy... although you can be at peace and not be happy just as you can be happy but not at peace.
