From what I've read from Red Square (in Moscow) on a red letter day
How about a carpet warehouse?
A red carpet is a strip of carpet that has been dyed red which is laid out to welcome dignitaries and celebrities at formal events. However, the phrase "red carpet" also often refers to any special efforts at hospitality (a "red carpet treatment", "rolling out the red carpet", etc.). The 20th Century Limited passenger train may be the origin of this phrasing, as the New York Central Railroad used plush crimson-colored carpets to direct people as they boarded.

How about at a furniture store? Or perhaps there's a carpet store near where you live. Check the Yellow Pages under Carpets.
