Hello,
Probably, not brushing your teeth properly.
You teeth is also touching your gum, which is very sensitive that can cause dark marks.
if you are constantly thinking about it, that can occur as well.

See a dentist or a doctor.
They have had years of training to help diagnose things like this. Total strangers on a site like this are never going to be able to help.

Inside your mouth on the side or on your tongue? I would have my dentist take a look at it.
