I know someone who is continuing to drive his girlfriends car unaided to and from work everyday WITHOUT a licence.
I know it's illigal but just wondered is there anywhere I can report this?
I believe it is irresponsible and he could be endangering lives!
I'm in the UK.

Actually nessavig he does drive back late from his local bar and YES he usually has had a drink.
He's an alcoholic.
If he did knock somewone over and I know about him driving without a licence, I'd never forgive myself for not doing anything about it.
The worst part is, his 4 year old son is usually in the car with him! Justify that.

You could contact your nearest police station but as there is such a hefty penalty involved it is understandable that you may not wish to be linked with reporting it as your name will come up and you will be identified as the person who reported him, be it sooner or later. Why don't you contact Crimestoppers? Crimestoppers is an independent UK-wide charity working to stop crime and, perhaps most importantly, allows you to remain anonymous! You can call them on 0800 555 111 or you can have a look at the web site http://www.crimestoppers-uk.org

Get someone to have a word, someone big who can take his keys all of them till he can show he is no longer an alcoholic and has past his test etc... Even if he gets ruffed up that is doing him a major favour...
The alternative is the cops... They will give him a criminal record, see he does not get a licence, fine and quite possibly jail him.
He may also loose his son but better then a dead son...
If he is taking his son this needs to be stopped now...
As said if possible if big lads can take away his car, maybe videoing his behavour and have it crushed, then send him a copy of the video saying there are several copies.
If he tries anything and does not sort his act out ie get a licence and give up the boozing... the tape goes to the copes... fine, crim record, little chance of driving work or a licence, loose his son etc...
So his guardian angel took away what was going to ruin him to knock some sense into him. He wont get a second chance...
You can't do that... We are talking bouncers, biker gang etc.
Unfortunelty you are unlilly to have people who can do that and care enough to do that so the police is the next option...
He will hate you but someone needs to drum it into his head why such as make him spend time in A&E seeing the results of rink driving and no licence, better still taking him on site to major accidents when the car and person is mangled and bloody.
Maybe ask the cops if something like that can be done to ram some sense into him
without a licence if bad enough, they are there fro a reason but drink driving especailly an alcoholic who can't drink is russian routlette and is going for certain to end up with someone morning dead or crippled relatives which he will feel guilty forever if he has decency at all as well. For him that would be worse then jail,
Hence while it may not sound that way... getting someone to knock sense into him, take his keys or even making him see the car or getting it crushed, and strong arming him into rehab is being nice... Note ideally someone needs to find a way he can find work as he needs an income and why he is an alcoholic... often there is an underlying problem.
Maybe you could ask police for advice or maybe a lawyer... asking for a way where you can stop him without jailing and crim record etc...
If you dont and he kills a kid how will you feel and how will he.?

This needs t be reported to the police. It is the action of a few people like the person that you know who push the insurance premiums up for the normal law abiding citizen sometimes to an amount that new drivers can not afford.
Also how would you feel if this person that you know was to knock over a relative or hit a car belonging to a member of your family

Tell the police immediately. You will never forgive yourself if he kills someone. You say he goes for a drink and carries a small child in the car? You are as guilty as he is if you don't do some thing NOW. You Friend will also be in trouble for allowing it to happen. Tell the police today. I am a driving instructor in the UK.

You have to report this to the police NOW!! It's your conscious on the line here!!
If someone is driving without a license...then they are automatically driving without insurance!! IF he did go and kill or seriously injure someone....they family will not get any compensation at all!! Also....drink driving kills!!! Think if any of your family members were walking along the pavement minding their own business and this prick you're talking about mounted the pavement and killed them?? The likely hood is that this man...having a total disregard for the law...wouldn't even stop if he knocked a child over...he's leg it from the scene.
IF you don't feel like you can report it direct to the police station...then why not phone Crime-stoppers.....they'll pass it to the police on your behalf. You don't have to give your name or address....another option is to write a letter to your police...again you can keep this anonymous.
Together...we can get this man OFF our roads!!!!

You can report it to the police and you don't need to worry about being involved. Assuming they follow up on the report, they will catch him in the act (they'll simply lie in wait on his route to work) and then all the evidence will be from the policemen concerned. It may come out that they've received an anonymous tip but usually people like that have collected enemies over the years.

utilising without licence prob 6 factors and £two hundred positive No coverage 6 factors and a greater positive than final time. No MoT and failing to offer will in all probability get no greater advantageous action if banned and fined for the firdt 2 offences. attempting to pervert the path of justice. no longer a smart ingredient to do, a custodial sentence would be very heavily seen.

Police definately. Its illegal, therefore he's commiting a crime, which is what the police are there to stop. Even if the police werent the right place to go and you didnt know, i'd say go to them anyway, because at least they can point you in the right direction (but the police is right in this case!!)

U can call crime stoppers anonymously their phone number is 0800 555 111 or u can visit their website at http://www.crimestoppers-uk.org/.
If u know that this is happening then it is ur duty to inform on him. As u say how would u feel if he did kill or injure someone. Especially as u know their is child involved. This child does not know that what his dad is doing is wrong. So its up2 u to speak out for the child.

Well you could always report him directly to the police by making a citizen's report since you have his car license plate number?
