We really need more information than you gave. What MOS are you considering? What are you expecting from the Army? Any more information would be helpful. I will tell you that some recruiters are not trustworthy. They have a quota to meet, and that's all they care about. A lot of them won't tell you everything, or will sugar-coat the reality of life in the Army just to get you to join. Once you are in, they don't care about your problems. Understand that this isn't true of all recruiters; I had a particularly wonderful one, but he was always in trouble for not meeting quota; you just have to be sure to take everything that your recruiter says with a grain of salt. If you want something (bonus money, station of choice, specialty training past your MOS) make sure it is in the contract that you sign. If it isn't, then you probably aren't going to get it. I wish you luck. It is a brave and selfless thing to serve your country.

Simple. don't. You'll be cannon fodder for rich politicans looking to further their own ends rather than those of your country.
