I don't consider any kkk member a follower of Christ. The kkk talks of nothing but hate, and God is a God of love.

k b,
"Would you honestly consider the KKK Christians?"
No. Christians are people. I would have to have a talk with one to know. And just because I found out that one was or wasn't, doesn't mean that they are all that way.

You know how it is, whether you are Christian or not; some people are just on the bandwagon, and they really might be looking to get off. Others just might be confused about a thing or two. And you know there's a lot of confusion in the KKK. they all can't be that stupid. There may be one or two at least that have a mind worth knowing.

This whole thing reminds me of Abraham talking to the Lord after the Lord told Abraham that He was going to destroy Sodom. Abraham pleaded with God that if He found a number of them that were righteous, that He would spare them.

Are you also ready to condemn all those in the KKK, without knowing any that might be righteous?

And you say this:
"Last time I checked, there was nothing about white supremacy in the Bible."
I have no idea what you are talking about. Realize that Abraham was from the Middle East, was he white? How do you know that Adam was white, or Eve for that matter. It sounds like you have made some presumptions of your own!

Don't know, don't care and I don't have any say in what they (or any other people) are or aren't, religiously -- that depends on their beliefs, not mine.

It doesn't say anything about computer programming or The Boy Scouts in the Bible, either, but plenty of computer programmers and Boy Scouts are Christians.

Anyone who believes Christ was born the messiah, died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead is a Christian -- period.

You can differ with every other Christian in existence on all of the other details and fail to follow even a single one of Christ's teachings and examples and you're still a Christian, so long as you believe those three things.

The KKK call themselves Christians. They even wear crosses. But they are not true Christians. Wouldn't it be awful if the KKK's actions were attributed to ALL Christians? Because, that is what a lot of people do to Muslims. The Muslim terrorists are comparable to the KKK but many people blame all Muslims for their actions.

KB, I'm curious as to whether you would listen to a woman with a black avatar, but here goes:

Take a look at I John 4:19-21:
19We love because he first loved us. 20If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. 21And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.

From what I understand about the KKK, I'd have trouble believing that they can love other people, especially people of other races? Do you think they would love a person with my colored avatar?

If they cannot love a person of another race, how can they love God? If you can't love God, you can't go to heaven. So it stands to reason that if you can't love a person of another race, you cannot love God.

So there may not be any verses about White supremacy, but there surely are verses about love!

You know a tree by it's fruit. If all the KKK produces is hatred, bigotry, slander and a lineage of fear then they are not the fruit of righteousness are they? The kingdom of heaven that Jesus described is just about the opposite of what they practice, a Christian follows Christ, they do not.

The KKK is nothing more than people who think that whites should rule the univers alongside God. they think that any race other than white are a cuse and such curses be whiped from the face of the earth. but God made man in every skin color and we are all equal in His eyes.

The KKK started out like every other neighborhood gang. They were just protecting themselves from the freed slaves who were out to kill them. Over time they moved into intimidation and eventually became near-terrorists in their targeting of minorities.

It's a political question.

Technically, anyone who believes that Jesus of Nazereth is the Messiah is considered to be Christian. That doens't mean that their dogma has anything to do with spirituality, morality, or even the real message and philosophy (philanthropy) of Jesus.
