I have a sister that is looking for her mom and can not find her what sould I tell her she is just harting over this every night and I have tryed to help her find her mom but we can not find her all I keep telling her is that we can find her and I will help her intell she finds her but I am starting to think we might not find her what do I tell my sister?

There might be good reasons why the mother stayed away...maybe she has a drug or alcohol dependency OR has mental problems and knows she can't take care of a child. Or, things may be way worse. She may not even be able to take care of even her own self. HOPING none of these are true, all I know is, for a mother to sever all ties with her own child and not corresponding with her means it is not the daughter's fault. You must convince her of this. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to not have a mom, but think of it like this...would you rather have a mother with severe problems that doesn't possess the ability to care for her own child...or...no mother at all?

Just be there for her and encourage her to find happiness in what she has in her life already. Tell her that you are worried about her that she may be trying too hard and getting her hopes up over finding her Mother. Most of all just love her and be emotional support no matter the outcome. (I really do hope she finds her)

just be there for her. She has to try and get through this. When she is ready she will move on, but I'm sure it will always be in the back of her mind. Helping her is wonderful, but also encourage other things to get her mind off of it for a while.

Dont give up, you have how many cities in how many states in how many countries where her mom might be. Dont give up until you've looked from her to the end of the earth and back.

tell her that maybe she doesnt want to be found. it might hurt her feelings but it is honest.

where did she go?did she just walk away from home or just missing?we need details to tell u wat u will tell ur sister
