umm...we started talking and then we drifted and now were friends so should I trust her with my secrets?? and how should I know that she is really being a good friend?

Maybe. Start with a small secret, something not too important, and if she is trustworthy, move up a little. Building trust is a slow process.

Hah! All of my boyfriends loser friends are like that-they make fun of girls and women that they used to know or knew from school and stuff and then its like oh, guess who i am talking to-and then the next week, guess what, they are dating-and now its like wait, i thought you hated her because............I don't know-his friends are so shallow and go through women each week/month I do not even think that they get to the sharing of secrets stage---Good Luck!

Yes you can trust her with your secrets, but if you don't feel comfortable telling her you stuff then don't tell her.
