I met this girl about a month and a half ago when a started working at my new job. When we finally started talking (she is a coworker by the way) we got along great. One day she asked me if I wanted to go to a movie with her and her friends. I couldn't that particular day, and told her that Id take her out to a movie the next week if she was interested. She said she'd like to but wasn't sure if she could, and that she would call me if she could (we had already exchanged numbers). Well days and days passed and she never called. It didnt really bother me until i started seeing her again. Id say hi to her and ask how she was doing, and try to talk to her, but she seemed to not want to talk to me. This has happened to me for the past week or so, and has gotten to the point where it seems shes going out of her way to ignore me, and its as if shes irritated or angry with me. Can anybody help me out, because im not sure what to do next.

Maybe she met another guy, or maybe she feels like you should take a stand and ask her out again.

Maybe she is very young, newly employed and new to dating. She may have suddenly realized that going out with someone whom she works at the same job could get her into some trouble, with serious, emotional issues or with rumor spreading and office gossip. She may be feeling that you had ill intentions toward her by showing personal interest in her. Therefore, what you should do now is to act very businesslike around this girl and behave as though no exchange of telephone numbers ever occurred. However, if you happen to see her on the street or somewhere completely away from and unrelated to the office, you might speak cordially and apologize if you created a misunderstanding by trying to be friendly. Let her know that you were only being friendly and had no other intention in wanting the telephone number of someone else where you worked for casual correspondence. Do yourself a favor and NEVER DO THIS AGAIN with anyone of the opposite gender who is your coworker. You exposed yourself to possible accusations of sexual harassment at best and to daily misery and regret at your workplace that could cost you your job at worst.

It seems as though she was just trying to be nice to you by inviting you to the movies since you were new. Maybe she got the wrong impression when u asked her to the movies. It seems like she thinks that u wanted a date, and if u did, now u know that she doesn't want that. Besides it isn't a good idea to date coworkers. But if ur still curious, just ask her. Its really the only thing u can do becuz its not like u can read her mind or ask her friends. That's just childish. Be mature and just ask her. Good luck w/ that.

you should try and talk to her and let her know how you feel about her. girls are scared to jump into something when they know it's the right thing and when they see a good guy. Take it day by day and if it doesn't work out move on because you don't need to put yourself in that position.

Maybe she's mad because she thought you were blowing her off, go ahead and ask her out again... the worst thing she can do is stay mad and say no... and if she does.. oh well find someone else to date...
