i was visiting this website and it kinda up set me i wont post the link because i dont want to cause trouble but this is a church who was putting down other people and churches and i just thought it was awful so here is the letter i sent to them let me know what you think of it.
to who it may concern:
should we not be spreading the word of GOD instead of the churches judging one another if people where to close their eyes to religion and just focus on the words GOD has sent to us the churches would be perfect. "Jesus said let he who is with out sin cast the first stone" there is not one single person on the face of this earth that is with out sin we are all born into sin (or another way to say it is we are all born in imperfection) the bible speaks the truth and any one who believes in the bible should know the truth. by judging another person we are bringing their sin upon our selves. isn't that why the bible warns us against judgment. "judge ye not lest ye be judged" we need to be concerned with our own salvation and not whats going on in the other religions they have the bible the same as any one else and the only one who is capable of fair judgment is the the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY and Jesus Christ. we are quick to pass judgment on some one Else's faith but our own sinful pride stops us from admitting our own mistakes. we need to stop trying to explain the bible in our own opinion and let the bible speak for its self. there are many trusting souls in this world that put their faith in our hands. GOD help us if we lead them in the wrong direction...
our misguided point of views wont lead us to salvation only the Lord and the bible can do that our opinions wont mean a thing on judgment day!

part 2 of the letter
What is faith?
Faith is believing and never questioning GOD or his will, Our faith is the best way to show GOD our love. Faith is more then just a word its a feeling that cant be explained. With out faith we are lost and empty souls wondering around in this big ole sinful world. With out faith we are fair game for Satan.
2nd Corinthians 5:7 for we walk by Faith not by sight. Some people may wonder what the bible means when it says walk by faith not by sight. It means close your eyes and take the Lords hand and let him guide you.

And as it is written in Romans, ch 1:17: For in it the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith; as it is written, "He who through faith is righteous shall live."
Our faith doesn't just affect us but it also affects every one around us. By showing our faith in GOD. we set an example for every one, God rewards the true and faithful. Every one who believes in him shall be rewarded. GOD rewards us every day. The breath you took this morning when you got out of bed that was a reward. The food on your table that is also a reward. Some times when you feel that you have nothing and it seems like you may not be getting your reward look at the poor and homeless the sick and the lame. And thank GOD for all that you do have. Hebrews, ch 11 6: And without faith it is impossible to please him. For whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

Romans, ch 1:8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is proclaimed in all the world. ch 12:3 For by the grace given to me I bid every one among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith which God has assigned him. As King David says in Psalm 23 1: The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want; 2: he makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters; 3: he restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.4: Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.5: Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies; thou anointest my head with oil, my cup overflows. 6: Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. AMEN

Yes, it is not for us to judge, but for God. Period. Religions shouldn't be persecuted by other religions for their beliefs. But, I guess that would be the "sin" of religion, wouldn't it? Religious persecution or "saving" is just an excuse for mankind to express their power or vent their sins of violence and control.

Well written, I agree, sometimes people need a reminder. If you point the finger at someone, you have three pointing at yourself. Pride comes before a fall. Of course, a good I love you and I'll be praying for that you may be filled with the knowledge of God's will would be good to throw in (Col 1:9). Ever since Adam, families have been 'disfunctional' and unfortunately includes God's family of born-again, yet ignorant or 'babes' in Christ mixed in with the poser Christians. The most unfortunate in this case is that many followers would think this is acceptable behavior coming from a leader...

I'm glad that there are some Christians on here that don't give the faith a bad name. You did the right thing. There's enough trouble in the world without people who should be all about peace causing strife. I always want to give those people the little bracelets that say "What would Jesus do?". Anyone who's read the bible should be able to have some idea what that might be.

I agree with so much of what you say, and I try to live it to, rather then judge other faiths, simply be happy that they have found faith. However, I find your talk on faith a little disturbing. To me, faith is belief without tangible proof, not without questioning. If you do not question, how can you learn? I have personally questioned many things, such as truths of the bible and book of mormon (yes Im LDS fyi). And in the end I always take my questions unto the Lord for answer, for what better source of truth then the Lord? The idea that you can not question caught my idea and worried me alittle.

Well, if they are a Christian type of religion that goes by the Bible, your letter will be something they can understand. If not, it may be lost on them.
I agree with you. Religions putting each other down is insane. Sometimes it's even different factions of the same religions. What a waste of time and energy.

Wow, I'm impressed by your knowledge of the bible and the courage you showed by sending the mail. If more people would embrace your mentality, there would be a lot less trouble in this world.
Amen brother, you might have helped someone refocus their spiritual life.

John 8-7 That's my favorite verse in the Bible. You did the right thing. People who call themselves Christian and judge others are hypocrites.

If the church was putting down other churches in similar denominations or those that worship God--the Bible, then yes that is so very wrong and you did the right thing. Good for you!! :)

Are you talking about jesus-is-savoir. com? It was very well said in any case. If more people of all religions were like you the world would be better for it. Blessed be.
