I don't think there will ever be proof that there is no God.
It's just like proving that Leprechauns don't exist. Somebody may really believe in them and won't take no for an answer.
To prove something doesn't exist is much harder than to prove it does.
The Day After was an OK movie, though. Maybe God was taking a lil' nap? :^)

There's you problem.
You try to figure out where God is during the wrongdoings of mankind. We have "free will." This means that God can not interact with our choices. He will guide those who ask him, but he will not stop someone from launching a nuclear weapon. It's not his job, it's the job of the people. If people would lose their violent tendencies and learn to work together, we wouldn't be blaming God for our own wrongdoings.

I did see that movie, many many years ago and it was chilling. Of course I still believe. There is nothing that will move me off of believing that God is in the same place He has always been! And, speaking for myself, there is nothing anyone could say that would change my mind about God. I will never hold any human "evidence" higher than God's word (the bible).

First, that movie was a complete waste of two hours of my life that I will never get back.
Second, what proof do YOU have that there ISN'T a God?
Leave people alone to believe what they will and stop being so negative and whiny.
And rent better movies.

Cool movie. Yeah, god would seem a lot farther away if it were real, too. Better start learning what berries are edible and how to spear fish.

isnt "the day after" about a nuclear war?
