She is nervous about the classes and the 7th and 8th graders, cause they say that the the older ones rule. and they will make their lives hell if they are talking bad about them, and she is so nervous. Oh and she starts an monday.

Yikes-tell her to make sure that she hangs around with her own friends in their little group and also that she knows where she is going and what times things are at and what exactly she needs to do like finding her way around the school-this will make her feel a lot better like she is not so lost and have to ask everyone about everything-also just let her know that the 8th graders will be going into high school next year where they will be the losers and everyone will pick on them and the 7th graders next year will rule the school-this is what I told my brother who starts 7th grade this month-and our middle school has like 7 elementary schools in it so there will be a lot to do and plenty of people to meet and new friends to make and teachers to talk to!

Tell her to act cool. She needs to be with her friends and be herself and be a little bit excited too! It's middle school and the older kids will do their thing and she can do hers. Once they see that she doesn't really care what they think, they will drop the attitude and maybe decide she's pretty cool for a newbie.

tell her to walk in there like she owns the place, head held high with confidence. if othere people sense fear then they will eat it up.
