Would God have you support people no matter what they do? If your answer is yes.... then support Hezbollah also. Does God have a special interest in israel? Then let God deal with it.
Would God have ignorantly support evil doers? Surely he would want you to know what is right from wrong. Expecting that you support Israel at all times would just be ridiculous. What if they are wrong and Israel's enemy is right?
Israel hasnt ever got sh!t before, I dont see how they are pleasing the 'Lord'. Apparently they have most often times been in denial of some sort.
anyway
thanks for the 2 points

Well, this is a hard one to answer. It is easier to tell you what is going on and let you decide. So, Israel is a country with a lot of Jews in it, but, Israel is ultimately NOT a Jewish state. Many Christians in America are confused by this, becuase Israel carries the same name as a Jewish state in biblical times. So, as Christians, we should not be supporting Israel just because it is Israel. Personally, I think Israel is making bad choices in the Middle East, and I really don;t support them. Unfortunately, we worded a lot of policies after 9-11 that committs the US to be supportive

Zechariah 12:3 "And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it."
That is probalby a question too complicated for anyone to answer. Israel rejected God's ways, and this might be God's punishment on them -- so I wouldn't want to be against God. On the other hand, God encourages mercy even towards those who have been punished by him. It would depend on what exactly you meant by 'support'. I would say, generally it's God's concern, not yours or mine. But the 'Good Samaratan' attitude won't be frowned upon for supporting individuals.

Hezbollah are terrorists & we do support Israel, we are giving them enough time to take a bite out of the terrorist machine. Condie helped broker the peace deal with the UN today but it will be worthless because Hezbollah is not part of the package. The people calling Israel terrorists are ignorant and unimformed.

Modern-day Isreal's inhabitants are not physical descendants of Abraham any more than any average white caucasian. Fact: the vast majority of "Jews" today are actually descended from Khazarians, a 16th century nation whose leader adopted Judaism as its offical religon, and whose descendants returned to Isreal in later years. Over the centuries Jews have been noted to take on the physical characteristics of the inhabitants of the lands they were dispersed in..... proof of inter-breeding. There is no pure bloodline. There are no geneologies in existance anymore (such as were stored in the temple before its A.D. 70 desctruction) Essentially there is no such thing as a Jew anymore. Its a culture/religon and not a distinct race.
With all that said, how can Jehovah God see them any differently?? The answer is that He doesn't. The nation of Isreal is a man-created political nation, not a Chosen People.
Christians who believe that since they were his "chosen people" in the Old Testament that somehow they still exist side-by-side with born-again Christians as a chosen people do not have their "covenant theology" correct. There is one Covenant mediated by Christ, which no one (including Jews) can belong except by grace and faith in Christ. Christ is the fulfillment of every promise made through the law and the prophets.
And yes, the first Christian church was Jewish, the discples were Jewish, but look at how they were persecuted by the rest of Jews (read Acts) What is Isreal today- the theological descendants of a Christ-believing sect of Jews? Or rather the theological descendants of those who denied Christ 2000 years ago? This is not an anti-semetic view at all. It is in the confession of the Reformed Churches- something professed to be believed by most all Presbyterian, Lurtheran, and reformed churches.
Not believing Jews of today are still God's "chosen people" does not constitute any ill feelings against them nor any anti-isreal sentiments. It is rather a sober and accurate interpretation of Scripture along with a systematic view of theology. A belief in 2 covenants for 2 different peoples (Isreal and Christian Church) raises many theological problems. For example.... if the covenant Jehovah instituted with Biblical Isreal was sufficient WITHOUT Christ, then why was his life and death nessesary? Why does a Gentile need to be saved through grace and atonement by Christ but a Jew would not, which would be the case if there were seperate covenants in existance for each people? Also, Gal 2:16 states "...a man is not justified by observing the Law, but by faith in Jesus Christ" so how would Isreal be justified if such a covenant existed for them if there exists no method in which to be justified other than Christ?
The land in which Isreal resides was nearly devoid of non-Christian Jews for centuries after Jerusalem's A.D. 70 destruction, and Muslims possesed it until the Crusades, so whose land is it really? When Isreal and Muslim nations around it fight- what are they fighting for? Because radical Muslims think Isreal has no right to exist (but then again neither does any other religion in their eyes), and Isreal fights for sheer survival in the midst of neighbors who hate them. So who do we support? They are both using the same tactics, the same types of weapons, both being offensive and defensive depending on what day you tune in to the news...... the answer lies in politics not religon

YES! A indeed! A Sovereign State is being clobbered, bombed, and women and children MURDERED by gangsters.
The Jewish People Have a Right To LIVE!

The Seal of The Messianic Church
EVIDENCE THAT THE EARLIEST CHURCH IN EXISTANCE WAS JEWISH
One of the strongest evidences for this is the presence of many artifacts, clay pots, and lamps, which are engraved with what has come to be called the SEAL OF THE MESSIANIC CHURCH.
The seal has been copyrighted as " Seven Branched Candelabra/Star of David/Fish"
A book entitled "The Messianic Seal of the Jerusalem Church" by Reuven Efraim Schmalz and Raymond Robert Fischer has been published (Olim Publications, P.O. Box 2111,Tiberias, Israel.
Top of Seal see the Seven Branch Candelabra that stood before God in the Temple.
Below that, see the Star of David, which is from the 7th century BC. It is composed of two interlaced, equilateral triangles or DALTHA (D for David). "A star shall come forth from Jacob, and a scepter shall rise from Israel" Numbers 24:17.
Below the star is a fish which is an early Christian symbol in Israel. It was transported to Rome, and by 150 AD. Clement of Alexandria suggested to all his readers that they include the sign of a fish in their personal seals to identify them as Christians. Later the Greek spelling for the word fish ICHTHUS was incorporated. The first five letters of the words that spell "Jesus, Christ, God, Son, and Saviour."
In the Messianic Seal, the cross appears as the Hebrew letter TAW.
The artifacts were discovered in 1990 by Tech Oteeoos, a 90 year old Greek Orthodox monk, in the vicinity of the, what is believed to be, the original Church founded and pastored by James the Just, the half-brother of Jesus. When the actual grotto was excavated by Oteeoos, numerous inscriptions were found on the walls. The period of its use on Mount Zion could only have been from the crucifixion in 30 AD to 135AD.

It's not a religious war, it's a political war (which I guess in the Middle East is the same thing). Anyway, I think that Israel is WAY out of line. But then again, I don't think that blowing up the whole Middle East would be a bad idea so I say let them all blow each other up and get it over with already!

One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter. Depending on the angle you view it from both Hezbollah and Israel are terrorist, yet also right in their cause. Traditionally the U.S. supports Israel through funding and weaponry as do Christains.
I would consider what Israel does before offering your backing though.

Well, if you are a Bible follower you know that a special promise was made to the Jews. Also, you know that the Jews will face nearly all countries being against her. Jews aren't the terrorist but there is innocent blood on both sides being spilled.

EDIT: 'If God positioned all government into skill, then why does Hosea 8:4 say, "Thet set up kings without my consent; they decide on princes without my approval"?' because of the fact no longer "all" governments exist with God's consent. on the different hand, a number of them are. "His command to love your enemies needless to say cancels out each and every of the conflict." yet that's mentioned contained in the recent testomony that there is a time for conflict... i think of that's a intense contradiction whilst the Bible speaks of a company ordained by utilising God this is in certainty a central authority able to imposing rules and raising taxes, and then say it helps anarchy, the absence of government.
