The true average male height (to disappoint your first answerer) is 5' 10". So by that standard you are a little on the short side, but my boyfriend is 5' 7" and I love it!!! It makes it so easy to kiss and hug and even . . . well, you know ;P
So be proud and stand up straight for God's sake!!

Hey. Don't worry much more about this. In our country, there are lots of men who don't have the good height. But, people say that despite you are short, everyone has to raise their eyes to look at you! So... do you know what u should do now?

It totally depends on your age and sex. Five eight is huge for a 6 year old, but normal for a adult female. It's fairly average for an adult male, not "short".

It is a little under average for white Americans. For other races or countries the statistics are different. This is an interesting article on the differences.

How old r you.. unless I know that I can't answeryou. For an adult that's not short but it's not tall,and for a teenager that is pretty tall

Yes. For a man it is. I am 5'7" and I am only medium to medium tall for a woman.

yeah that's kinda short if you're done growing. im over 5'10" and im a girl soooo..... you'd be too short for me! lol.

no ur not well if ur from america or europe or sometin lyk a white man ur short but if ur a asian ur tall well ur an average i suppose
