The answer is in science. In 5 years oil will become irrelevant, due to hydrogen fuel. When that happens there will be a great shift in world wealth away from the Arabs. With out money they will not be able to finance terrorism. As a mater of fact the Arabs will have to pay the free world for food. Ask yourself have you ever heard of a Muslim farmer. Believe me oil does not make a very appetizing meal.

Terrorism will never be totally gotten rid of. They would all have to be killed, which the UN won't allow. The bigger problem lies in who determines who are terrorists. We as Americans typically look at fundamental Muslim extremists as terrorists, but they look at us as terrorists. The same can be said for what is going on between Hezbollah and Israel. If they see each other as terrorists, then no matter who "wins" a terrorist nation will still exist from at least one point of view.

By exterminating Islamo-facists. That only takes care of the majority of terrorists, but I think the world can deal with what would be left.
Diplomacy is useless, dialogue is useless.... just an idiotic way to postpone the actions required. The war is here and now, it is time to fight it to WIN, or your children will have to clean up the mess.

To the "civilised" world, those who threaten and bomb US/UK, etc are terrorists...
To the Islamic world or the third world countries, the US and the UN ARE the terrorists...
It's child's play... the game we used to play when we were young? You attack me then I attack you. Because you pinch me last week so I kick you now....
It'll never end as long as the love for money and power prevents us from seeing both sides of the coin.

For getting rid of terrorism, we have to understand the meaning & reasons of terrorism.
We all know that these days its a high alert in all parts of the globe & we don't know where they will strike.
To completely eliminate this evil threat, we have to adopt a positive approach, as the option of using force against it is failed.
The positive approach is that we have to address all the core issues and root causes of conflicts on justice. FAILURE IN RESOLVING THE OUTSTANDING ISSUES IS NO MORE AN OPTION.

At this point where we are at war, i don't think so... things should be discussed at diplomatic levels without any consideration of war. the issue here is egoism & power & one nation's importance.. if you don't get what you want, you will be in desperate need of it. if you don't get it the right way, you will want to get it anyway even it means of killing your own species. the one who intrudes one's nation is at fault -so truly, who is the biggest terrorist?
