one word: conditioner. condition your hair with any brand such as pantene or dove or redken. (i do not recommend garnier). to apply conditioner, start at the ends then work ur way up avoiding contact with the scalp. the ends need the conditioning the most. after towel drying hair, use same conditioner on the last 3 inches of oyur hair but do not rinse. with continuing to do this u condition your hair where it needs it most so it eventually will stop getting split ends. to prevent flyaways, also on towel dryed hair, apply zero frizz (about 5 dollars) or biosilk (10 dollars-15 dollars; better quality doesnt weigh hair down i recommend this) at the ends of your hair working your way up. this way, when hair dries it will be silky smooth with almost no flyaways. please dont use any hairspray or mousse. if hair gets used to it, it will be horrible without it. get oyur hair used to naturally no flyaway with those two tricks. good luck!

Split ends are hard to avoid, especially if you style your hair often. Getting your hair trimmed regularly will help to keep it from getting serious. As for the fly aways, it depends on the cause. If you have fly-aways as a result of dry hair, then get a shampoo and conditioner designed for dry hair. If it is a result of static electricity, purchase Static Guard. It can be found in an aerosol can, usually in the laundry aisle, beside the spray starch. Spray it on your hairbrush before you brush your hair. If you have long or thick hair, you'll want to spray it for every section. Good luck!

conditioner definitely helps to maintain it. However there are tricks if you want to help flyaways. One is to spray some hairspray on a brush and then brush the fly-aways. You could even use Static Gard in a can and mist your brush and then spray. Another option is the fabric softener sheets for dryers...you can rub these over your hair to tame flyaways. Split ends, however you do need to trim and condition to prevent them.

Go to this site, it really helps...
and my advice is don't brush your hair too often and i'd leave my hair up so it won't bother my face or gets damaged by me playing with it. Don't try to stay in the sun too much or else you'd get a "hair tan" so wear a hat or cap. Try not to dye your hair often because the dyes take away moisture.

Shine serums are mind-blowing, I dont generally do alot to my hair, yet I do have a number of those items in my bathing room. that's usually a easy oil which weighs down the little fly aways and makes your hair look superb and glossy. The Crystali one and the goldwell ones are super. additionally blowdrying your hair smooths down the cuticles of your hair making it astounding, mushy and silky.

Sounds to me like your hair needs moisture. That's what causes the fly away hair.
