Here are a few free tips on losing weight that really work. Starting with your behavior, you need to start thinking thin and realizing that weight loss begins in your mind. Keep a positive attitude, set realistic weight loss goals, keep a food journal and begin an exercise routine you can live with.
To lose weight you have to cut your calorie intake by 500 calories a day. A little secret weight loss tip is you don't have to cut them all from your food. If you eat 250 calories less food you can burn the other 250 calories by walking for 30 to 45 minutes a day. In a week, you will have lost about 1 pound. Over time, these small changes will add up to a healthier, happier and lighter you.
Below are some of the best healthy weight loss tips to keep you moving toward your weight loss goals:
· Eat breakfast every day. Eat whole grains with at least 2 grams of fiber.
· Eat some dairy like yogurt or milk, it can help rev up your metabolism.
· Drink water and keep hydrated, add a twist of lime to zest up the flavor.
· Be aware of white foods, choose fruits and vegetables with bright colors.
· Be cautious about bread, choose high fiber, whole grain loaves.
· Have an apple before dinner, it fills you up and provides lots of fiber.
· Keep moving, dance around the house while making the bed and doing chores.
· Brush your teeth after meals or have a breath mint, it helps to stop the urge to eat.
Losing weight is not something that happens overnight just like gaining weight is not an overnight occurrence. Developing the right mind set and determination to achieving your weight loss goal along with a few sensible behavior changes will send you well on your way to achieving success.
Understand how your thoughts, life experiences and attitudes about food and exercise influence your mind into making lasting lifestyle changes for long term success. I hope these free tips on losing weight will start you on your way.

This is how I am losing weight at the moment, and it's going really well with a decent loss of about 2-3lb a week, which is healthy loss.
Diet - Lots of water (2literes a day and try to make it cold as your body will burn calories warming it) combine this with a diet that is mostly made of fruit and veg. Add in carbohydrates that are unrefined (not sugars) for example brown rice, wholegrain breads and cereals, but not the white equivialnts which are mostly sugars. Cut out fizzy drinks, high fat foods and foods that are processed with lots of sugar and excess salt. I have been told that you should eat 6 smaller meals a day, but I eat 3, and then snack on low fat yoghurt, fruit, nuts (without salt) and seeds. Don't starve yourself though, as your body will refuse to get rid of fat thinking it'll need it for the tought time ahead.
Oh and treat yourself one meal a week. This doesn't mean go nuts and eat the whole of McDonalds, but get something you like to eat, that's not great, and eat a small amount - it's a great incentive to eat well the rest of the week.
Excercise - I work out 6 times a week, for about 1 hour at medium to high intenstity (tread mill, cross trainer and bike) On three days I add in 15 mins of resistance work with dumbells, and weights machines.
Just rememeber it wont be a fast proces - keep going, and don't watch the scales, muscle weights more than fat, so you might even go up in weight. Good luck.

Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic index and load. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way we have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.
Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad carbs and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Links page has gov. BMI calculater to find out just how much overweight you are. Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

The healthiest way to lose weight is NOT to go to pills or anything like that. Healthiest way is to eat right and exercise. Don't skip out on meals either, just eat way less of junk food. Iv been told by a doctor once that if you don't eat as much as you need to, you may actually get fatter, because the body believes its starving and will save fat cells to prevent starvation.

Sounds like you may just want to gain muscle. A common thing bypassed is that the more you exercise, the healthier you will be. You also will most likely gain muscle weight when you exercise, therefore become heavier. So don't look at the number on the scale, look at how you look and feel and how your clothes fit.

i don't think you need to loose weight you just need to eat an equal amount of food and do not eat more than needed. If you put aside an hour or so a day to exercise you'll do fine.
