If you have whole wheat bread and limit the peanut butter to a thin serving its actually not bad. Make sure the jelly is "no sugar added". You have your carb, protein, and 1 fruit serving. Just add a glass of skim milk and thats awesome. Its way better than not eating at all. Most obese people skip breakfast, ask any register dietician, and they say they can tell who is skipping breakfast just by looking at them. The reason is that you have the tendancy to overeat at lunch, or after dinner late...or you choose the wrong foods at lunch because you are so hungry. Your body goes into starving mode and the metabolism goes down. But YES IT IS HEALTHY

Most people put too much peanut butter on sandwiches. Peanut buttter has a lot of fat and jelly has a lot of sugar. If you are eating 2 sandwiches every day, that adds up to a lot of excess fat and sugar. Try cutting back and adding fresh fruit and some dairy.

It really depends. Is it whole wheat bread? Is the jelly sugar free? Is it natural peanut butter, or something like Jiff, that has hydrogenated fat in it?

Plus, that's a lot of carbs. You should watch your intake the rest of the day.
