Since the SAT has changed its scoring from a 1600 scale to a 2400 one, a good score is anyting above 2000. Just for you to get an idea of what colleges expect:

Harvard- 2265
Princeton- 2257
Yale- 2227
Stanford- 2197
Duke- 2121
UCLA- 2043
UC Berkeley- 2039
USC- 1980

etc. :)

1220 is equal to a 27 on the ACT if that helps but that was on the old system. Because 2400 is the new perfect score, a ACT- 27 would be equal to about 1800 on the new system.

1300 or up is good, 1600 is perfect good luck!
