Why don't you ask him? Maybe you'll get a best answer.

Which means he REALLY doesn't know the answer to anything. To ask a question and not give the opportunity for an answer is to not ask, and not deserve an answer. Some people are fully and genuinely confused, and haven't developed a way to communicate so that they can get what they are looking for. I feel sorry for them, because they are searching - on a journey - but they are paving their pathway with thistles. They need more to be shown, rather than simply told. Those people who say they know everything are the ones who are closest to knowing nothing. Ask and you shall receive! Whether or not you deserve it is another matter entirely.

You answered your own question. He always has an answer for everything so why would he need to ask?

I've never asked a question either. Never had a question that could be answered by the people here.

Don is an OLD OLD guy who has been through Cults, Religions, Secret Societies, etc.. has a number of doctorate Degrees and all that jazz. He has even been Knighted for writing a BOOK (on wine making!) He is quite a DRIP, but has helped people for many years. People who read his web site are able to ask him questions LIVE and he answers on the spot most of the time.
I suppose that's why he is called ""whynotaskdon"".
He is the most hijacked person on Yahoo Answers BY FAR!
He love that - the publicity gets more more people to his web site!

Because people say I'm just an arrogant know-it-all, old fart. Really I don't have much of anything intelligent to ask anyway. I just enjoy seeing my own answers, just like I like hearing the sound of my own voice.
Did you ever wonder why, if I'm so smart and so important, why I spend all my time sitting on my butt posting notes on a chat board? Hmmm.
I have 3 advanced degrees that I bought online. They cost me $50 each and I have them framed. And I'm a published author with 2 letters published to Penthouse Forum.
Unfortunately, I have had a lot of rejection in my life because people usually don't accept me. They say I'm arrogant and self centered because I just talk all the time, mostly about me. That's why I like Yahoo Answers so much. People love me here. I don't like dealing so much with the real people.
I'll try to start asking more questions. Beware of the imposters who want to be me! Gosh darn it, everyone wants to be me, because I'm old, I'm stupid, and I have really smelly feet.

He doesn't believe (perhaps) that the unexamined life is not worth living. Frankly, I wouldn't want to live in a world where I knew everything and there were no mysteries left.
