my ex and i dated 3 years ago we broke up because he was immature at the time and wasn't sure what he wanted and i think he wanted to play the field a bit , but he admited a year after we broke up that he really did love me and he regreted letting me go i was his first love , but i wasn't hearing it. he just came back into my life yet again after another 2 years he wants to hang out and see where things will go, im just worried he hasnt fully matured enough, but i mean for him to keep coming back year after year must mean he really does love me right? should i give him a chance we dated from the time we were 18 thru 20.... we are both turning 23 so i guess he could have grown up some i dunno im so confused!

I think that everyone deserves a second chance. You know the saying you never know what you have until its gone, I think that that describes your situation the best. Here is a guy that messed it over with you in the past and is doing everything to make you see that you still have a hold on him. You are young, you have to be open minded and take time out to look at those who are looking back at you. whats the worst that could happen, another ended relationship, or true love and forever happiness. I think that one out-weighs the other. I say give him another chance. I have been on both ends of your situation and to tell you the truth the hardest part is not deciding if you want to give him another chance but him trying to get that second chance. Normally i would give you the "ex's are ex's for a reason" speech, and i want you to keep that in mind, however, i think that you at least owe it to yourself to see if he's actually matured some. Go out with him, give him a few weeks, because they true colors normally show by then, and see if you see a change in him. Since your asking this question, i can tell there's still some love there and that's ok, but you don't to be going in a circle with him, going through the things that caused you guys to break up in the first place, so try it out, go on a few dates and see what happens. If you like what you see, then give it a try and if not, then let him go. Good Luck!

Help him out, men need you. Go out and socialize. If he likes other women help him score and get some girl yourself. If he's immature maybe some girl needs that now. It's always easier for guys to meet women with other women partying around. Besides, mayby you'll attract some other guy (or girl) when your out and end up in a new relationship right in front of his eyes. Then he;ll see you're taken and you'll both have options. If he proves he wants you then that's worth something. If he has to mature, ask him to work on it in specific ways. And ask him what you can do for him.

All i cn say it !!!! go for it...!! u knw him well...and so does he...and when a guy is cumin bak to u after soo much time i believe that u r actually sum1 important for him....thats y he's bak...or else if he'd bin playin he never wud hav...alright just try to hang out with him...try to be maintain a good relationship..and then think if u really wanna get involved romantically...give it time...dont make hasty decisions alright??? be with him and then decide...i hope all this works out!!! al the best !!

I wouldn't expect much "growing up" on his part; although you have done alot on you own. See him for lunch and check out what he is up to. You'll get a better "feel". If you want to find out more, ask him if you can meet for lunch again. I just can't imagine this working out for you. I think you'e wasting your time.
