I too, am a pound cake lover. I have so many recipes, that it would take forever to pick my favorite. But i get almost all of my recipes from this website:

www.recipezaar.com

do a search for pound cake and it will bring up so many. this website is for the cooks at home. you can even put your own recipes in and people will bake them and then rate how they came out. i have several recipes on there and cook from it every week. good luck. they have a chocolate pound cake that is out of this world.

Good luck

I don't know that it's all that special, but every time I serve it people really like it. I make the pound cake recipe from the Betty Crocker red cook book and, instead of vanilla, I use coconut extract. While the cake is cooling I sprinkle some toasted coconut on it and serve it with mango sorbet.
