What kind of question is this? The only circumstances under which the sexual orientation of God become relevent would be if you were going to get down with God and you needed to know if God felt the same way based on orientation. But if you're simply talking about worship then your question is more than irrelivent, it's offesive. Why should the sexual orientation of anyone affect the way you treat that person, or God for that matter. But if you're just trying to mess with the minds of Christian fundamentalist by posing this buddhist type, no answer-question, then I like your style.

that like asking " If your best friend wasn't really your best friend but was someone else would you still like that person as much as your best friend?" If God were gay I would worship. Homosexuality would be good if that were the case.

If God were gay, He would have written a very different Bible. In that Bible gay would not be spoken poorly of and whatever's OK with Him should satisfy any believer. If you think about it though, God can't have a sexual orientation because He isn't sexual. Who can He have sex with?

Unfortunately, I have to shake my head at some questions asked here. The sheer ignorance illicited is outstanding, and I feel compelled to answer it nonetheless!
Homosexuality is not condoned by God. That means He doesn't endorse it. No sin is any greater or worse than any other. It is incongruent to discuss a God that practices something He doesn't condone, since we wouldn't be talking about the same entity then.
Hence, there would be nothing to worship.

God cannot be gay. If he were, he would have never made Eve and would have made Steve. All joking aside, God does not concern himself with the mortal flesh hence he cannot be gay (or straight). He is father to all of us.

Like, totally. ;-)
Just kidding. I believe God is beyond gender. He is Love, and love is gender-less.
And to "whynotaskdon," I'd pay good money--lots of it--to watch Gay God kick your *** back to the stone age, dude. For someone so religious in his postings, you should know better than to claim you'd be able to teach God anything.

Wow, I'm an atheist, but I just had to say... what a ridiculous question!
If there were an entity that created all of this and all of us... do you really think he/she/IT has the parts or the desire for sex?
Or would it be an entity so far beyond us that we simply could not comprehend.
Bleh... grow up...

if he was gay i think people would have to conceal that fact. but again if he was really gay, people would have had a very different view on homosexuality nowadays.
