hi im shane im a 14 year old boy and ive never had a girl friend but there is a girl i really like but im scared of talking to her let alone ask her out. i think i need a job b4 i get a gf so i can buy her stuff is that true? how do i ask her out? why am i so scared? will every1 tease mewhen she rejects me? why is this a question i can ask strangers and friends but not my perants? any help would really be appreciated.

being nervous when around a girl you like is completely normal. I'm 18 and I still have the nervous problem. What you need to do is overcome that nervousness and just go up to her and ask her out. You don't need a job to have a girlfriend because if she likes you the way you like her than just being around eachother is better than any present. Also, if she rejects you, it isn't that big of a deal, I've been rejected so many times that I have lost count. What you need to find out is if she likes you so you won't have to worry about being rejected. Ask one of her friends what she thinks of you and go from there. Your at the point in your life where so many new things are starting to happen and you need to find out who you are. Anyway hope my advice helps!

If you like the girl so much, approach her or send her an e-mail, anonymous note or something. You don't need to have a job to buy her things--why? Not all girls are materialistic, your company should be enough. If she rejects, so what? That is life. You then pick yourself up by the bootstraps and try again. Good luck to you.
