My school is one of the top schools and the school I want to transfer to isn't so great. The problem is, I am VERY unhappy at my school & my counselor hates me. I am a straight A student though. I want to transfer high schools because a lot happens during my last two years in high school & I don't want to go through another wasted/hated year. The school I want to go to is not in the district and I don't have an address for that school. I have tried filling out a release form but it was denied because I didn't have a good "reason" to transfer. School is around the corner and I am loosing hope. What reason can I put on there that will usually work? How can I transfer without an address? If you have ANY information, please let me know. It will make my summer at least a little better. Thank you.

Research the school you want to go to. What do they brag about? Do they have an award-winning Mock Trial team? The largest Circle K club in the state? Find something that they're better at than your current school and say you want to participate in it (even if you don't.) Don't pick sports though -- there are rules about athletes transferring from one public school to another just to get on the team. The key is that you want to go to that school for some strong (even if bogus) reason.

Well do u kno anyone that lives by the school u want to go to? U can just put their address. Also talk to your parents they should be able to transfer you without any problem or required reason, and if they as tell em the truth!
