Try Oxyclean instead.

Depending on your age, you might also be fighting a losing battle. Teenage boys between about 14 and 18 have historically awful acne.

Just make sure you wash your face in the morning AND at night, and that you shower daily, and that you use an astringent like oxyclean wipes at least every morning.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

Yes, a lot of acne treatments like ProActiv wipe out the natural oils in your face, so your oil glands produce even MORE oil and, therefore, likely more acne.
If you're a certain age, especially in your teenage years, it is likely just a phase that will eventually fade away, but you just have to keep your face clean. Wash your face every day and keep it clean.

Beta-carotene capsules worked wonders for me. I tried everything from prescriptions from dermatologist, retin-A, sunlight, Oxy, Clearasil, etc. Then I took capsules of beta-carotene (3 when I wake up, 3 when I go to sleep). It made my skin drier and less greasy, no more break outs, and most of my acne scars disappeared. All within 3 months. Beta-carotene is a safe form of Vitamin A because it cannot be overdosed.

If you are like my sons, During football season my sons break out more than in summer, because you are sweating more and your diet isn't as good as in the off season. We try to cut down on the junk food, drink alot of water and there are some facial wipes for women from oil of olay that are great. No one needs to know you use a women's cleanser. It worked for them they are single use cloths that you can take anywhere, just get wet and clean your face and rinse with cold water.

This problem haunted me for years. I'm having flash backs lol.

let me say that i tried every single product myth home remedy there is.
your best choice is go to the dermatologist i did and i never had them again.
note* but your dermatologist wont be able to do much if your say 14 years old he may give you a treatment to control it but not cure it.
I went when i was 19 know I'm 21 and I'm acne free.

90% of acne comes from touching your face. Keep your hands away from your face and dont lean your palm of your hand on your face. Dont use harsh chemicals. Cetifil is a face cleaner that you can buy at any drug store. The spelling is wrong but the drug store pharmacist should be able to point it out. You dont need a prescription.

1- either wait untill you reach puberty and the situation will get better alone in 90 % of cases
2- or take the roaccutane (iso-retianal) but this medication has lots of side effect and you should take under medical supervision
