depending how often one plays clubs should be re-gripped once a year or when the grips are shiny. The grips should feel tacky.

Once a year is good for most golfers. If you clean them every few rounds with hot soapy water and then dry them off. They will regain that tacky feel. But this only works for so long. I relpace them every year.

About once a season unless you play very often. You should replace them at the first sign of wear if earlier.

every spring for twice a week players because if they wear faster than that your grip needs loosened.
