for lots of the folk right here they actually haven't any clue of what they are announcing. Israel has been in conflict with each Arab us of a interior the midsection east for hundreds of years. The question being requested is why is Israel and Lebanon combating now. the respond is ordinary, Hezbollah a terrorist group placed on the border of Israel in Lebanon and back via the two Syria and Iran went into Israel and attacked Israeli troops killing some and kidnapping 2 extra. Israel needs their adult adult males back. Israel blames the Lebanon government responsible because of fact the Lebanon government refused to do something approximately Hezbollah. So now Israel is extraordinarily plenty making them pay for their loss of government and for their help for this terrorist group

Israel is at war with Hezbollah. Hezbollah controls parts of Lebanon.
Israel is not in conflict with Lebanon, except that they wish Lebanon would finally get on the ball and disarm Hezbollah as Lebanon promised a decade ago.
So, it's difficult to answer your question because the fundamental premise (Israel/Lebanon conflict) is flawed.

Israel fighting Hezbollah. Not really Lebanon. It seems that every arabic Muslim wants to kill Jews. I guess it states that in the Koran.

Iran, the week the UN security council was to decide on sanctions for continuing to develop nukes, their lap dog Hezbollah kidnapped an Israeli solder. Nice distraction. Syria and Iran have been funding, training and equipping these terrorists for years.

Because there are many nations/organizations (of terrorist natures) who have vowed to wipe Israel off the map.
So pretty much as long as Israel still exists the people who hate it will continue to attack

Right now, it's Hezbollah. But otherwise, I'd blame religion. Jews vs. Muslims.
