but they are all over my bottom lip, and i cant eat with them if something touches my bottom lip it starts to hurt! how do i get rid of them?????? please answer

go to a natural health food store and inquire about lysine! Taken as an ointment or pill. I personally would but both. I would put the ointment on my cold sores then begin to take the pills. The pills will prevent any further flare ups from happening and it is completely safe. Lysine is an amino acid in the body, you body is simply deficient..take one capsule with every meal..abreva will NOT prevent future flare ups

you can go to the drugstore and buy a lip balm called abreva - it helps to get rid of cold sores. you just apply it a few times a day and over the course of a couple days the sores go away. there is really no quick fix to get rid of the sores, but getting and using the abreva will surely help to get rid of them faster.

There is an OTC called Abrevia that is supposed to help. Keep your hand off your face. Don't kiss anyone.
Cold sores are a virus that can be spread.
If they are not gone in a week, go see a doctor.

Unfortunately, you have to be patient and let them run their course. Some over-the-counter preparations can help alleviate the discomfort/pain, but they will not expedite the healing process. And most of all, do not pick at them.

abreva will help, a little.. drain them and put peroxide on them 3 x a day. I'm sorry, I know it's painful, annoying and embarrassing. Good luck!

To get rid of cold sores.....gargle with salt water...get warm or hott water...and put like 3 teaspoons of salt in it and mix it up....gargle and swish but don't swallow....it won't kill ya if you do though..... trust i'vwe done it a ton!

sorry hon. once you get herpes you will keep getting them for the rest of your life. There is no way to get rid of them only ways to heal them for awhile.
