The flu can last for several days. If your stomach is upset, get some Pepto Bismol. That two teasons four times a day. Eat things that are bland, which means no spice. Chicken soap, in small amounts, helps. So does saltines. Sherbet has been known to help. And sipping peppermint tea surprising does help.

Check your temperature. If it is over 101 get to a DOCTOR ASAP. If you are not better within the next day or two, you should go see a doctor.

Being sick is no fun. Make sure you keep hydrated, with warm tea, warm soda, or water. Sip do not gulp.

Of course after oking this with your docotor....I would go to whole foods market or central market and purchase "star annise" in its whole form. Pour over it some hot tea with lemons. Star annise is a spice used for chicken. It has been know to be the onlly few cures for viruses (antibiotics wont work). In china they actually have been using it for the bird flu virus for 400 years and the Rouche pharmacuticals are buying up 70% of this flowering plant. It goes for about 20 a pound, but you only need about 1/4 of a pound.

Yes, flu last 10-14 days.
If your stomach hurts more than a day or you get other symptoms-- like bad headache, neckache or something that just doesn't seem right, go to the doc.
Keep drinking fluids as best you can.

Hope you feel better soon!

I've had the flu before. When I had it, I had nausea, cramps, and diarrhea. Maybe you have a severe case. I believe the flu lasts about a few days to a few weeks, depending on the severity. get rest and feel better!
