as a Christian. The word "love" has 8 different meanings in Greek. The New Testament was written in Greek for a reason.
Which one of the 8 different loves, would you like to know about?

It's nice, but you should have led with the opening lines:
I may be able to speak the languages of human beings and even of angels, but if I have no love, my speech is no more than a noisy gong or a clanging bell.
I may have the gift of inspired preaching; I may have all knowledge and understand all secrets; I may have all the faith needed to move mountains-but if I have no love, I am nothing.
I may give away everything I have, and even give up my body to be burned - but if I have no love, this does me no good.

My religion says about love: God is love, so to be filled with his Spirit is to be filled with love. Our love to others must be without hypocrisy. We must love our enemies, so that means we must love everyone. We must not love in word but in deed and in truth. If we do not love, we do not know God. People will know that we are disciples of Christ, by the love that we have for one another. Love covers many sins, meaning we don't overlook sin, but that we love the person or people in spite of. In other words, we must love Muslims, Islamists, Buddhists, Confucionists, Scientologists or whatever other religion there is. We must love people like Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy, etc., because God wants everyone to repent. He does not condone sin, but wants people to turn from sin. The religious folks love those who love them, but we must love everyone. And now abides faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is love.
That's what my religion says about love.

There's no set doctrine in Wicca, but what I've come to see it as is this: Love has many levels and we were meant to feel it many different times. You cannot truly love another until you love what is within because you cannot gain something without, without first gaining it within. Love everyone because it comes back to you.

Love isn't overly emphasized in Asatru as Frith (peace and harmony) is but I guess you could say that Frith is maintained out of a sense of love for our fellow human beings.

I am of no religion but I can tell that you have love in your heart. Love is there for its by love that you exist. I'm a Christian and have devoted my life to Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who is love manifested in the flesh. Stay in His Word and live.><>

Here's what I say about love. I am a part of everything else, therefore, if I love myself, I love everything; and if I love anything (or anyone) I then love myself.

God Gives us Love in the Qur'an:
"... God loves the doers of justice." {Holy Qur'an 60:8}
"... God loves those who are fair (and just). " {Holy Qur'an 49.009}
" On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most
Gracious bestow love. " {Holy Qur'an 19:96}
"...God loveth those who make themselves pure. " {Holy Qur'an 9:108}
"... For God loves those who put their trust (in Him). " {Holy Qur'an 3:159}
" And among His Signs is this, that He created for you mates from among
yourselves, that ye may dwell in tranquillity with them, and He has put love
and mercy between your (hearts): verily in that are Signs for those who reflect. "
{Holy Qur'an 30:21}
" And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, " {Holy Qur'an 85:14}
The Qur'an reveals this false assertion that God only loves the Jews or the
Christians:
"And the Jews and the Christians say: We are the sons of God and His beloved
ones. Say: Why does He then chastise you for your faults? Nay, you are
mortals from among those whom He has created, He forgives whom He pleases
and chastises whom He pleases; and God's is the kingdom of the heavens
and the earth and what is between them, and to Him is the eventual
coming." {Holy Qur'an 5:18}
