She's been in the hospital since 6-21-06,
with severe head injuries from ex bf who beat her.

She has been in a coma for over 3 weeks, and I am very worried for her.
Doctors say not much brain activity which means very likely she will have permanent brain damage : ( ........ but I'm still praying she will recover fully.

I would greatly appreciate your prayers for April to regain her health. Thanks in advance for your concern.

God's Blessings to each of you : )

YES, i will pray right now for April, and i am so glad she has such a loving friend,

I will share my prayer at this moment with you, and maybe others tonight on Yahoo will join me,

Dear heavenly father, i love you , i adore you, and the very thought of you. I thank you for all my blessings, and those i am not even aware of,I repent of my sins, which are many, and i know that sin offends you, and i am grateful that you are a forgiving GOD, and such a loving GOD, I believe you love the world so much that you gave your son, Jesus, to us, to show us once again your mercy, and love with Jesus the son, who gives us hope, and promises that: with God, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE, AND greater is he in me, "THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD"
I ask that you heal this child of yours named April, she has been injured, and sufffered great pain, and her body is just resting , and waiting for whatever decision you will make,. Please Jesus, heal April back to a complete, physical recovery, with her brain activity restored, and the swelling of her brain ,,to go away, giving her the mind and abilities she had before the beating she sustained.Let
APRIL WAKE UP, AND GO FORWARD IN HER LIFE ON EARTH.

Father, you promise us if we believe, and have faith in you, you "ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD" will
you hear our prayers, and never willl you abandone us, i pray you will heal her completely, and bring her back to her life, and to the persons who love her so much, and "WE" all together, ask you, and remind you of your promisses, and we believe in your promisses,, and i know you create all miracles, 'Father, almost ten years ago, i was in severe pain, and someone i did not know touched me, he frightened me at first, yet he ask if he could pray for me,,
and i said yes: He this man, prayed to you, and he in prayer, KNEW,, you heal the sick , anyone, who believeth in you..and accept you as the savior will have their prayers granted, if in your plan., relieved that he(THE STRANGER) was not about to attack me,
as he claimed the promise you gave the world, you, your promise, if we trust you and have faith,, and then
my back injury would be healed.. .....
The next day, i woke up, the pain gone, completely gone, this was the miracle you gave me, my faith has grown stronger, and i am asking you to hear me, and many other prayers, prayers of all the souls who are your children and love you,, together, Jesus, we are as one in prayer ,
heal this woman, who is yours anyway, let her have a speedy recovery with physical and mental clarity and strength.......
to live the life you have given her..and to realize the plan
you offer her...
,FATHER,
IF you have a plan we do not understand for April, then father we ask you to comfort all of the family and friends who are sad, and help us all understand that nomatter what the result is, You are with April, YOUR LOVE AND MERCY IS HER COMFORT AND OURS .

Please tonight and always give us the blessing of wisdom and strength to remain strong in our faith.
We ask you this in Jesus Christs name..AMEN

I add my prayers as well.
The doctors once told my pastor (before he was saved) that he was dying of lymphomic cancer. He was so far gone, his mom had started making funeral arrangements. He finally got smart enough to pray and commit his life to Christ. When he did this, he was so weak he couldn't even lift his head to take a drink of water. The VERY NEXT DAY, he was sitting at subway, eating for the first time in 8 days, wondering what in the world had just happened to him. That was about 9 years ago. He's had something like 25 blood tests since then and not one trace of cancer anywhere in his body.
God does heal... even when the doctors say it's impossible. Remember that begging is not the same as praying. True prayer is simply claiming what God has already promised in His word. Keep us posted... God bless

Certainly, prayers of physical and emotional healing for April as well as strength of spirit in her recovery. Also prayers for you as you help her through this, and prayers that her bf will get the help he obviously needs.

See below, there is a toll-free number and website where you can ask for prayers in person or just send in an email request for others to pray for April. Blessings to you and thank you for the opportunity to pray for your friend! http://www.upperroom.org/prayer_center/

No. Prayer has never been a help to anyone other than to give the person who prays a false sense of purpose and comfort.

Not having much brain activity might mean that she is going to have permanent brain damage, but it more likely means that she is brain dead and will die or is effectively dead already.

Your grief is evident, and I deeply sympathize with you, but this is not the time to seek magic and nonsense.

In the mean time the boy friend needs to be charged with aggrivated assualt, battery, and eventually homocide when your friend is declared dead.

I hope you do not associate yourself with men who abuse women. There is no justification for that sort of behavior and it needs to be condemned in the strongest of terms.

Ordering God to bless people as your kicker at the end simply shows that your religion is trite and thoughtless.

God still answers prayers today, many people have recovered from Coma's , sometimes its the brains way of shutting down to heal itself.
I will pray for her recovery.

I will pray for God to surround April with His love and healing power, to bring her out of the coma and onto the road to recovery, and I'll also pray for comfort for you, since this is hard for you.

I would love to pray for you and your friend, and I hope that she is healed and that she proves the doctors wrong by recovering, and being the same person she was before she was injured.

I truly wish she recovers it's not fair for her to go thru this. All because of that ex bf. May she recover fully so she can enjoy the other part of life the one she deserves.
