Ok I remember in 2001 when we started fighting in Iraq, but now a lot of wars have been going on in the middle east, are we still fight the Iraqi war? Why don't they just leave us Americans out of it or why don't us Americans just stay out of it if we can help it, cause the Idea of us fighting in Middle East for no really important sake (oil is really not important to take away lives) is really annoying? But I do support our American Toops, that's why I want the war to end so they can get out and go home!

If you think it is about oil then you are sorely misinformed and rather ignorant.
Sure, America could back off. What good would that do? If we refuse to get involved then suddenly we're this awful, selfish country that won't help out. When we do get invovled then we're this terrible country that won't mind our own damn business. Do you realize the amount of foreign aid we've give these countries? Do you realize that we've helped these countries rebuild and try to get back on track. But no, we're terrible and awful.
It doesn't matter what we do. We're damned if we do,damned if we don't. Personally I think we should just stop helping all of them and let them bomb the **** out of each other.

I am happy that you support our soldiers. We are not involved with Israel and Lebanon, except to help them come to a resolution to end the fighting. We went over to Iraq, because they had weapons of mass destruction and Hussein was a scary guy. Many believe that they had none because they did not find them once we got there, but the weapons were moved to Syria in a hurry.
I also wish we could get out of Iraq. It is costing us a fortune.

First of all, you really have no clue about the War in Iraq, and the reason why our troops are over there!! Everyone wants them to come home, and they will once their job is finished!
OIL?? Are you kidding? We are more oil rich than they are so that is just stupid to say. My suggestion to you is to get yourself some serious education on why we are over there..... Look back on 9/11 and everything.... That way, you wont be "confused"........

Because Bush thinks that changing course means admitting the Iraq war was a mistake from the start.
He and Congress can't seem to understand that we can make choices in the present, about what we do from here, without having to argue about whether past choices were correct or not.

What you are talking about is called isolationism, and that would be great but it doesn't work. We tried to stay out of ww2 and got sucker punched for our troubles. Read up on pearl harbor. We did not attack in any one before 9/11 they attacked us.
