Hi,
I'm looking for my grandfather who worked in Miri, Sarawak in the early 1970's with SEDCO (shell). He was German, I'm pretty sure. Daddy was born in 1972.. Something happened and my grandfather went back, he wanted to bring daddy but my granma ran away with him.. she wasn't nice to him growing up and abused him. Does anyone know anything? Please help ;(

If you know your grandfather's name and birth date, as well as the city/ cities where he lived and may now live, you could go to Germany and find him by, or at least track his whereabouts, by walking right into the city registry in the relevant town(s) and looking him up. Germans are always registered in the town hall, so finding someone there is very easy.
