Before the second coming? Absolutely not. Because we are, above anything else, human, and imperfect, and will always have disagreements.

I am not sure that it will be before the second coming. But I think that Yahoo answers is about the closest that I have seen of different denominations uniting against the evil in the world.

If we are violently opposed by the Communists, Atheists or Muslims, we probalby will unit.
If it's the Muslims, even Communists and Atheists will join the Christains!
Short of that I can't see gett Jerry Fawell to agree with the Pope on anything except maybe Jesus. And they'll even have issues on that!

I can't even begin to guess at what the world will look like when Jesus comes to rule and reign. But I can surmise that it won't look anything like it does now. And that is across the board. No more people killing each other over anything. No more hate, no more war, murder, rape, prostitution, abuse..none of it. I don't know how God will unite people under one banner, the one of Jesus Christ....I just believe that He will.

That is a difficult question. It depends on whether there is going to be a pre-tribulation rapture, mid-tribulation rapture or post-tribulation rapture. There are many theories on each, but if it's either of the first two then yes, but if it's the third then we will right after the Second Coming.
Honestly no matter which way it is I look forward to it.

No. That will never happen. I visit many different Churches. All of them think that they are the only ones who are right. Specially in the South. They are the righteous ones.

I believe it is happening this very day. The Body of Christ is returning to that One Body in Christ. Our common discussion is proof that we can discuss, learn and grow together in Christ. Unlike in the Middle East and other places on earth. Really what a blessing that in our country we are able to be friends and learn from each faith traditions.
Praise Be Jesus Christ.

No, christians have been fighting since the reformation. I know that the only thing that they all have in common is Jesus, the fighting will continue until the end.

You haven't been united since five minutes after they put the carpenter in the grave. Your aspirations for unity are as impossible as your aspirations for heaven.

That would be nice, but I think the first time we will all stand side by side is when we are standing before Christ. I look forward to that day.
