OK, first you have to have a reason, like you want a boyfriend, or want to wear nicer clothes, or it is healthier, etc. You have to commit yourself to this reason and hold it up to yourself now and then so it will motivate you.
Only buy food that is good for you, like fruit, yogert, whole wheat bread. Drink diet soda, if you have to have a soda. Otherwise drink juice, vegi drinks, milk, etc. Drink lots of water, at least 6-8 glasses a day. Refuse all rich deserts or only take a few bites.
Eat about six times a day, but only something sort of small, not a big meal, like a bananna with peanut butter on it, or a sandwich, or soup and crackers. That means you are going to have to have that kind of food around. It should be stuff that you like to eat.
Do something nice for yourself when you see that you are loosing weight. Praise yourself for being disciplined and having a goal. Take vitamins and exercise hard at least three times a week.
This worked for me.

to be thin you have to tell your mind that you are thin that way when you excercise you will get thinner faster so it's good to think positive and the best thing to do to get slimmer is to walk as much as you can at least 20 minutes 3 times a week. walking will even out your figure. also if you like to dance then dance. turn on your radio and dance in your room, dancing also burns calories and eat healthy make sure you eat fruit and vegies even if you don't like them.

Eat healthy, fresh food, lots of veggies and fruit. Cut out fizzy drinks such as Coke, Pepsi, etc. This is a biggie, I used to drink a couple of cans of soda everyday, I've cut that out and have lost weight and been able to keep it off! I have also started eating good food, and by good food I mean homemade food, not fast food or restaurant food. Also I walk a lot so exercise is important too!

You have to eat three small meals nad three small snacks. Your diet should include every type of food group but in small portions. You also need to have an excersice routine, one that you like so you can stick to it. Good Luck!!!
