Find out why and tell them to do some REAL research into this before entering. Also point out the health risks involved with multiple partners. They will not be stars overnight and therefore will probably hae to start in some really nasty movies first. Are they willing for this to happen? Also, later in life when and if they have children, how will it affect them?

Good One. Make sure they know about safe sex, even in the industry, diseases can run rampant. Make sure they are careful who they work for. Always check out a company well before signing any contracts. Ask alot of questions and always read the smallprint in the contracts. And NEVER watch their movies or look at their photo layouts! It's good money in the adult industry, but you have to be smart, and you have got to know what you are doing to succeed.

Pray for the patience not to beat the living crap out of them. I mean really, what parent with any sense in their head wants to see their child submit to a job where STDs and humiliation are every day aspects of what they do? Not to mention what happens if they fall in love later on in life with someone that doesn't approve of their past? They've now lost a chance at true happiness over something not worth it. And how do you explain that to your children one day? Oh gees, soooo much to consider.

I'd make them buy me a house with all the money they'd be making. But after they came over to visit I'd sanitize the sh*t out of everything!

I'd let them know that it wasn't my first choice for them. Then I would remind them that it maybe isn't a good idea to invite Grandma to the premiere.

support them, make sure they weren't into drugs or anything but if they are a grown person there really isn't much you can do about thier career choice. i'd be happy for them as long as they were happy, independent and not into trouble.

Well I guess although I wouldn't want them to I would have to support their decision if that is what the want and what would make them happy

I would try my hardest to talk them out of it. I would explain to them that it could come back to haunt them in the years to come. I would tell them about the risk of disease and how hard it would be to find meaningful relationships.

As long as they are over 21 I would figure that it is their life, not mine.
