IN MY EXPERIENCE WITH BUYING BOTH I THINK THAT THE 24 MONTHS IS STILL MADE FOR A CHILD WITH A DIAPER SO THE PANTS MAY HAVE MORE ROOM TO FIT A DIAPER BUT THE 2T IS MORE FOR THE BIG KIDS

My son is in size 24 months, and he can also where a 2T. I dont think there really is much of a difference, except for in the pants, they seem a little longer.

i've compared many pants and dresses and shirts and i haven't seen not even an inch in difference in length. some shirts do come a little bit more wider though. 2t is sometimes wider than 24 months.

Size 2 is the next biggest size. Most brands go for example 18 mo., 24 mo., 2T. Some very rare brands go 18 mo., 24 mo., 1T, 2T.

I think the length is a little longer in 2T pants. I've noticed 2T dresses or tops to be a little wider - more roomey.
