I am wondering why a 32 yr old man would still be so immature or insecure that he is with a 19 year old? He needs to grow up and stop shoplifting the pooty. There are a lot of young women that I find attractive ( I am 40), but I have a 16 year old son and I realize they are closer to his age than mine, and as mature as they may be......they have not seen nor experienced life yet. I want a woman....not a girl.

When I first went out on a date with my new man. He was 31 yrs and I was 19 yrs old. I knew he was the 'one' on our first date. The guys my age at 19, only wanted to party. I wanted to settle down. That was 15 yrs ago. We've been married for the last 13 yrs. So I say that an age difference doesn't mean anything as long as you really love each other!

I'm 39 and most females I date are 18 - 24. It's nice we have fun and enjoy being together. The only problem is we don't see things the same way. I've been there done that and they pretty much guess about things. I hope they learn how to be more mature and that we all just want to have fun.

Ultimately you will find you have nothing in common. If you can find a way to date a 19-year-old without treating her like your daughter, go for it. But as a high school teacher (aged 30) I think it's a bad idea. They are children.

Np problem with me. I'm 23 with a 40 year old, and I have to say he is the love of my life. We both can admit we have never been so happy. All relationships have problems, and even though this one is slightly more complicated (divorce with exwife, his 16 year old son, etc) we work them out easier together.

I can't be sure without having met him, but my first impulse is to think that he's up to no good, and wants a girl who doesn't have enough life experience to see through him. Have this guy meet your father if possible -- daddy will see right through him if he's fake.

I think age is not a factor, it's just a number.
I say this because I am his age and my boyfriend is 21.
