I am assuming you are referring to the new terrorist prevention methods on airplanes. I thought the same thing, but I think that the explosive in the gels/liquids may be so deadly, that the terrorist would be sick immediately. Sorry if I got your question totally wrong!

Because poision is a horrible way to die. And if they haven't killed themselves and are sharing it with you then they don't really want to die. They just want attention.
