honestly, if in doubt he obviously shouldn't be there, i don't know what he was locked up for, but by your actions, i'd say it's worrying!

Depends on your brother. YOu know what he is like! He is your brother. Jail or no jail, that is not really the question. What kind of person is he? Can you trust him around your kids? What was he in jail f;or? You know what I am talking about. I mean if he was in jail for drunk driving or robbing a bank etc... not a prob. but if he was in jail for being a pedophile, that is a different story, and I think you know it......

It would all depend on why he was in jail, as well as what your relationship with him and your children was before jail...did you trust him then? Has he been a positive influence in their lives? If so, how has that changed? If he was never a good role model, then you need to monitor his time spent with them. Just being in jail should not influence your decision...Your first priority is to nurture and protect you children and to keep them out of harm's way...that includes your brother or any one else who is up to no good...children are naturally trusting souls...and so it is YOUR responsibility to protect them . Trust your instinct..I know you will make the right decision!!!!!

It depends on what he was in jail for, what his past holds, and what kind of person he is now. Has he or does he use drugs or alcohol? Does he have a history of violence?

If there's even a doubt in your mind that you can trust him with your children, then the answer is no, you should not trust him.

that depends on what he went to jail for,i mean if he went in there for drugs that just mean he made a dumb mistake i would cast him as a danger just because he did that but speaking as a woman with children one of which an 8 year old daughter i wouldnt forbid him o see them but i would supervise his visits he might get back into his old ays whatever that was and could bring those issues into your home.

thatsso wrong he's your brother the only way i can see that it would be right to not trust him was if he went to jail for s*x with a child or something like that but just because he went to jail does no make him a bad person

Depends on what he did to get in there. All criminals are not pedophiles, and some guys just have a run of crummy luck.

IF his crime is anything having to do with abuse, assault, or sexual behavior, worry and trust your mommy instinct. You should go with that instinct anyway. Why worry about something that you can fix by being there, anyway?

It depends on what he was in jail for. But the safety of ur kids always comes first. I wouldn't let him anywhere near them if it was for any type of abuse or drugs...

It would depend what he was in jail for.
Only you know your brother and how his personality is.
Being in jail doesn't make you a bad person, its what you did to get there that makes you bad.

Depends on what he did to get put in jail. Do you have a reason to think that he would do something to hurt them??

Whatever he was in jail for he could be a bad influence on your kids or even endanger them. I'm a big believer in forgiveness but trust needs to be earned.
