he will be a man of peace ... a man that has the charisma and ability to unite all the religeons of the world together .. He will have alot of revolutionary ideas that will make the world say oooohh ahhhhh and think he is the greatest thing to ever come along ...after the temple is rebuilt in jerusalem he will eventually enter that and proclaim himself to be the messiah that the muslims and jews and everyone else has been waiting for ...... it could happen soon ... who knows. the bible says the spirit of the antichrist was already at work in the world in Jesus' time and its pretty easy to see all the telling signs of the prophesied era are close at hand ... the temple needs to be rebuilt which they already have plans and blueprints for and there will be a worldwide cashless society ... these are the two big signs i think that it is near ....

here is what the jews are looking for and i think it sets the stage for the antichrist perfectly. it also debunks the idea that somehow the antichrist is the catholic religeon or other such off-the-wall nonsense ,,,the Jews will think this is their man :

The term "mashiach" literally means the anointed one, and refers to the ancient practice of anointing kings with oil when they took the throne. The mashiach is the one who will be anointed as king in the Latter Days. He will be the very real king of a very real Torah government in the Land of Israel: not some "spiritual" or "symbolic" king in Israel, as some have mistakenly thought (especially Christians), and certainly not some gifted Jewish spiritual leader outside the Land of Israel, as others have mistakenly thought (including thousands of Jews in our generation as well as the followers of earlier false Jewish "mashiachs" in generations past). It should be mentioned that while it is not forbidden to foolishly believe that one is the mashiach despite that he is not, it is certainly not the sign of a good grasp of the Torah to be mislead as to his nature and role, described more fully below.

The word "mashiach" does not mean "savior". The notion of an innocent, semi-divine (let alone fully divine) human being who will sacrifice himself to save us from the consequences of our own sins is a purely Christian concept that has no basis in normal Jewish thought, though it seems to have been invented or adopted by Jewish apostates in the early Church. Unfortunately, this Christian concept has become so deeply ingrained in the English word "messiah" that this English word should probably no longer be used to refer to the Jewish concept. Thus, we prefer to use the less familiar word "mashiach" throughout this page.
The Mashiach

The mashiach will be a great political leader descended by a pure male line from King David (Jeremiah 23,5). The mashiach is often referred to as "mashiach ben David" (The Mashiach, son of David). He will be well-versed in Jewish law, and observant of its commandments (Isaiah 11,2-5). He will be a charismatic leader, inspiring others to follow his example. He will be a great military figure who will win battles for Israel, freeing the Jews of foreign domination and establishing a Torah-based kingdom in Israel. He will be a great judge, who makes righteous decisions (Jeremiah 33,15). But above all, he will be a fully normal human being, not a god, demi-god, or other supernatural being.

How can there be an Anti Christ when Christ is just a make believe story?
All the Christ is, is a cult which came about around 500-300BC.
A man by the name of Paul took Jesus the smart a s s , smart Alick philosopher and fused him in with the Christ cult.
If you looked back at the Christ cult from 300BC, you would state that Christianity is a very evil and disturb religion.

Big question. Lots of theories. I'll simply say that the Anti Christ is the opposite of the Christ. He wants to destroy God's people, and take rule of the world. I think Hitler was one, He wanted to destroy the Jews and believed he had a mandate from God to do so and ultimately rule the world. I believe Rome was the first, trying to eliminate the early Christians. Seeing in their small number a big threat! More followed. What do you think about Hezbollah? He wants to destroy the Jews for God, and destroy us too. We, being the great Satan. And then rule the world, presumably. After he's wiped out all the unclean and unholy. Fat chance. I don't think he's the big, bad scary one! I could be wrong however.....

It'll most likely be someone like Adolf Hitler, except he would charm most of the entire world, not just one country (where he promises all these good things if only you'll obey him, and then actually deliver on it).

Another thing to watch out for according to the Bible is that he's very anti-religion (considering the way things are going, that shouldnt be hard for many people to believe). He'll probably say something like "Religion is just people's way of controlling the masses! Well, I say that relligion is wrong, and it's time we threw off the shackles that those churches, synagogues and mosques have burdened you and your family with for all these years!" It may not be exactly like this, but it'll probably be something like it. And there will be people that will believe that, trust me (there are people who don't believe in God, so of course they'll think the Anti-christ is telling them the truth).

He will probably also do stuff that appears to be good, but in effect is harmful to many people. He may disband big corporations, saying that they're exploiting the people, and that there shouldn't be rich people when there's so many suffering (sounds like communism, yes, but it'll affect the entire world, not just a country or region. And with the way things are today, it wouldn't surprise me if something like this happened, and it actually worked).

He'll basically say what people want to hear, and do stuff that they would like to get done, but wouldn't want to do it themselves, and be a very powerful person (and no, I'm not talking about Bush. Bush is an idiot. The Anti-Christ would appeal to just about anyone, anywhere, and they'll idolize him and what not).

I may be wrong about all of this, but I'm willing to bet that the Anti-Christ will have many of those features (esp. ones about religion), so if you see someone who's doing all these things, you may want to repent and turn from your wicked ways so that you don't end up in the lake of fire with him later (unfortunately, Jesus said that many won't be saved because it's hard to be saved even for righteous people. It doesn't have to mean you, if you take to heart what Jesus and God said though. Make sure that you're living a righteous life so you can see past the Anti-christ's lies and deceit).

I have no idea but what I do know is that all the people who are hung up on the Anti-Christ are also anti-science, anti-education, anti-democracy, anti-women, anti-sense and probably several other antis.

I think they need to start being more concerned about postive things and caring for others than some hideous belief that borders on being religions' worse nightmare.

It's already Bush... Claims to be such a religious man, gets all those religious people to back him up and follow him right along, but doing a lot of crap and not helping his own country a bit and causing wars... Hmm... I mean, what if all his fans have been tricked into following the anti-Christ? I'm not a believer, but still...makes ya think huh?

There are already anti-christs here. The one we are NOT looking for is the son of perdition who brings peace to the Middle East and after 3.5 years tries to assert himself as God in the rebuilt temple.

Anti-Christ by definition is against christ. Look around, that could cover a whole lot of territory.
